Red Cabbage Salad

Sweet without sugar, amazing color and texture, rich on antioxidants and easy to make. Great for parties and events as a side salad.



How long does it take?

If you are using a food processor to cut the cabbage it will take less time as if you chop it.Overall it might take up to 15 minutes.

What do i need?

For 4 portions


  • Fresh red cabbage -350 gr.

  • 1 red onion

  • 1 apple

  • Apple cider vinegar- 30 gr.

  • Orange or apple juice- 80 ml.

  • Maple syrup -1 tsp.

  • Walnuts - 4-5.

  • Oil of preference- 20 ml


Process


  1. Cut the cabbage and an onion, place into a bowl

  2. Cut an apple into small cubes, add to the cabbage

  3. Cut each walnut into 4-6 parts, add to the cabbage

  4. Mix in a small glass apple cider vinegar, maple syrup and the juice and oil, stir well

  5. Add the dressing to the salad and mix well.
